Community Development is paramount in his strive towards the creation of a globally equitable community. His diverse experience in business, in the public and community service are invaluable towards building a strong and dependable GIUF.

Dato’ Sri Haniff Omar is The Director of Finance of GIUF. A former diplomat with over 35 years experience in foreign service. Upon retirement he was appointed chairman of ASEAN Counterterrorism Committee for two years.
His broad exposure to international affairs had familiarised him with global issues particularly those confronting Islamic ummah which are of concern to GIUF. His past international networks would help GIUF to reach out to Muslim communities and civil societies in other parts of the world in line with GIUF objective.
Dato Sri Haniff Omar is active in Community works. Beside GIUF he is the Chairman of Pertubuhan Mesra Pengguna Malaysia, a local consumers association. He is also the Deputy President of International Enterpreneurs Chamber of Malaysia and Chairman of his neighbourhood association. He was conferred with various states awards for his contribution to the civil service.

Dato' Rosli bin Sharif an experienced Professional Accountant (FCCA) who served the Government of Malaysia at the Treasury Department of the Accountant General's Office as Accountant at the Department of Civil Aviation and as the State Treasurer of Negeri Sembilan. In the public sector, he was the Managing Director for Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA) and instrumentally geared the growth of CIMA.
He also held as Senior Director of International Business West Asia at UEM Group Berhad and Senior Director, Corporate Services of UEM Group Berhad. He was also the Independent Non-Executive Director of Konsortium Logistik Berhad, Currently is the Executive Chairman for Eco Green Global Sdn Bhd.
Dato’ Dr. Mohamed Noor Sany
Dato’ Dr. Mohamed Noor Sany
Dato. Dr. Sany was born in Perak, Malaysia, in 1959.
He undertook his undergraduate and post-graduates’ studies in British Universities, and pursued his professional readings in Malaysia, UK and The Netherlands.
Dr. Sany is a professional structural engineer who spent a large part of his career serving the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries, in Malaysia and Internationally. He is also a certified Occupational Safety & Risk Consultant, having vast exposure in this area of expertise, working for Shell, in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
Dato’ sits in the Executive Board of the Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia, and is a fellow of the National Scientific Advisory Board (under the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
The incumbent is also a subject matter expert and a global resource serving The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), a body under the United Nations.
Dr. Sany has also been appointed by the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry, to chair and lead the Chemical Productivity Nexus, a body under the Malaysian Productivity Council.
Dato’ Sany currently is a Board Member of Global Islamic Unity Forum, an international serving NGO based in Kuala Lumpur, with an objective to assist the development of global Islamic well-being and unity.
Dato’ Seri Rosman Mohamed

Armed with an MBA from St Louis University, USA, Dato’ Seri Rosman Mohamed has over 40 years serving in corporations worldwide. Rosman’s experiences ranges from acting as the MD of Human Resource/Kaizen at Abdul Latif Jameel (Toyota Group) Jeddah, KSA for seven years, Regional Director for Cabot Corporation in Asia, being a Professor of Practice at Putra Bus School(UPM), and most notably serving as the CEO and Board member of Bank Rakyat. Rosman is also well-versed in leading global transformation programs as part of his dedication to uplifting the present and future workforce in addition to the bottom line results.
He currently sits on the Boards of Boustead, EcoWorld, Cisco Security and Khind, and is a member of the Ibrahim Johor Economic Council (IJEC) and Chairman for Digital Dagang & Ni Hsin EV Tech. He is also an Advisor to 3 main cooperatives namely Koperasi Tenaga Petroleum, Koperasi Harapan & Koperasi Digital Emas.
