Domestic Trade & Cost of Living Minister – Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub, Passed Away
Global Islamic Unity Forum (GIUF) expresses our heartfelt condolences to the family members of Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub, who passed away at the Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah on last Sunday; 23rd July 2023.
He was described as a Malaysia Member of Cabinet who was deeply respected and always committed in carrying out all of his duties.
Salahuddin stood out as a man of decisive action, gaining recognition as a hardworking minister reputed for being hardworking, yet approachable and humble. He formulated and implemented the Payung Rahmat program which directly benefited the lives of the Rakyat. It had been expanded to ensure daily meals, essential goods and services are accessible to the poor.
This nation has lost a great leader.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, and we stand united in sharing their sorrow. May Allah grant them patience (Sabr) and grant Allahyarham’s soul eternal peace.
