Veteran ‘Golden Voice’ Newscaster – Raymond Goh, Passed Away
Global Islamic Unity Forum (GIUF) expresses our heartfelt condolences to the family members of Raymond Goh, who passed away today at 10:40 am.
On August 30, he suffered a stroke and was rushed to a hospital in Petaling Jaya, where he remained in a critical condition until his death. Raymond Goh, whose Muslim name is Muhammad Zaman Goh, has more than 30 years of broadcasting experience. Goh also shared his expertise by coaching others on how to speak well.
Widely known as the ‘man with the golden voice’, Goh began his career as a newscaster on the 7 o’clock news before anchoring TV3’s Nightline news bulletin,
where he made a name for himself.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, and we stand united in sharing their sorrow. May Allah grant them patience (Sabr) and grant Allahyarham’s soul eternal peace.
